Archeology students and their Hawaiian guide encounter unseen allies and a misguided protector as they risk their lives saving artifacts in the path of an erupting volcano in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Join Matt and Savannah, two adventurous interns on an archeological dig in Hawaii, as they embark on an unexpected journey of survival. On their day off, they explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with Kilo, a seasoned volcano guide. Their tour turns perilous when a sudden volcanic eruption occurs.

Faced with imminent danger, Kilo recruits Matt and Savannah to help save precious artifacts from his family burial cave, which is directly in the lava’s path. They are pursued by Ka’iwa, a misguided protector of Hawaiian culture, who believes they are stealing the artifacts. The stakes rise when Ka’iwa kidnaps Savannah and steals one of the artifacts.

As they navigate down the treacherous mountainside, the trio encounters a series of life-threatening challenges, including a dramatic lava fountain and a deadly volcanic laze cloud of toxic gas. This harrowing journey tests their physical endurance, emotional resilience, and mental fortitude, while also straining Matt and Savannah’s romance. In the end, an unexpected resolution brings the adventure to a surprising and heartwarming close.
